Camera Notes: On this project, I wanted to provide a subtle visual difference between two characters. I wanted the visual language to represent the individuals as a person. The entirety of the female protagonist’s shots were shot on Canon FD lenses, while the male protagonist’s shots were shot on Carl Zeiss Jena lenses. The soft, warm look of the FDs contribute to her personality as a caring, emotional and loving. The more clinical, cooler look of the Jenas represent his ambition, passion and compassion. Two shots were shot on Angenieux HR zoom as a median between the two lens sets, and the resolution scenes were shot with a Sigma 18-35mm zoom for a clean, resolved, progressive look.
